PROPERTY TAX CHANGE.  The City just approved, for those eligible for Senior Low Income Exemption (seniors with income below $36,614 annual household income), an increase in the exemption for the City portion of the property tax, increasing it from $25,000 to $50,000 exempt.  That's in addition to your regular other exemptions.  See Sarasota County Property Appraiser website for more info.
