Here is the task for each neighborhood:
Provide top 2 specific areas within your neighborhood streets that you want us to focus on to resolve with the county. Note: this could be blocked drain, damaged catch basin or overgrowth of weeds at an outfall. Include the following information.
1. address closest to the location - example 1800 8th St northwest corner of intersection
2. If you have previously reported to county 311 or Click-to-Fix, provide the date and a copy of the email response from the city/county acknowledging your issue.
3. If the issue has not been turned into county or city, please indicate as such
4. any photos/video available of the issues
After the committee has absorbed all of this information and built the plan to address the county, we will be asking you to provide your next areas of concern. Please do not include dredging or water way clean up requests as we will take this on as a separate topic within the committee.
The stormwater resilience committee will be working within 3 subcommittees as follows.

Waterway Clean Up and Dredging
Zoning and Land Development Requirements

City begins using Neighbors by Ring for community notifications
Neighbors by Ring, the popular mobile app for doorbells and security cameras, is now among the many communication tools utilized by the City of Sarasota for community outreach and notifications. Neighbors is a social networking platform that allows users to connect with their community. The Neighbors app is a free standalone app available to anyone whether or not they are a Ring customer. Through its verified Neighbors account, the City of Sarasota will share important community notices, including critical information during hurricane season. The Neighbors app can be downloaded through the Apple App Store or Google Play. It also is available within the Ring app.
News and alerts are posted on the City of Sarasota website www.Sarasotafl.gov. Information also is shared on the City of Sarasota Facebook, Instagram, X and Nextdoor channels.

Your input will help shape how the City plans for a safe, efficient, and accessible transportation system that serves all users. It will also inform our outreach strategy for community engagement activities—including public meetings, open houses, and a citywide survey—to ensure the Transportation Chapter update reflects Sarasota’s needs, shared values, and aspirations for the future. The update will build on the foundation established by Sarasota in Motion (2020), the City’s first citywide transportation master plan.

Notice is hereby given that Provisional Use Permit Application No. 25-PM-01 – 1050 S. Tuttle Avenue (Temple Beth Redevelopment) has been filed with the City of Sarasota by Joel J. Freedman of Freedman Consulting & Development, LLC., on behalf of Alastair Jenkin, Senior Vice President of Gilbane Development Company (contract purchaser).
Brief Description: Provisional Use Permit Application No. 25-PM-01 is a request for a religious institution to be located on a Residential Multiple Family 7 (RMF-7) zoned subject property with a street address of 1050 S. Tuttle Avenue. The site currently includes a synagogue which is proposed to remain. Related Rezone with Site Plan application nos. 25-SP-06 and 25-RE-04 are proposed to rezone the subject site to RMF-7 and construct a four-story apartment building on the property. The continued synagogue use will require Provisional Use Permit approval, as more particularly described in said application.
The Provisional Use Permit procedure is set forth in Article IV, Division 18, Sections IV-1801 through IV-1803 of the Zoning Code (2002) and the specific use standards applicable to Open Air Markets are set forth in Section VII-602(x) of the Zoning Code (2002). The procedure for the issuance of a Provisional Use Permit is an administrative process with the permit being issued by the City Manager or his designee.
