WARNING:  Editorial Comment:   AVNA CCNA Membership

AVNA is a member of CCNA but does not have a regular representative for CCNA's monthly meetings.  AVNA president Larry is the official alternate rep, but he does not participate in these monthly CCNA meetings.  Linda K. was invited to be rep, but declined.  Local neighborhood activist Steve M. requested to be rep, but AVNA board refused to allow him to be rep.  I (Linda K.) insist that AVNA needs to be more inclusive.  AVNA neighborhood folks, please voice your views to AVNA Board on this, as CCNA is an important opportunity for our neighborhood to have a voice in the City!

AVNA board:
Larry Silvermintz, President      J Portman, VP      Cheryl Coley, Secretary
Maureen Doherty, Treasurer
Editor's Comment:  Note that AVNA was set up to represent the neighborhood.  Without more people becoming involved, neighborhood associations sometimes struggle to represent the diversity of opinions and needs of all their residents.
